Todd Alan Studios, I have been in the jewelry business for 7 years. So when my future sister in law asked me to help he find a wedding band I thought it was an easy task. It wasn’t. I have resources everywhere from New York to Hong Kong and I couldn’t find her the unique ring that she wanted. (a 3 tone braided, “natural looking” band) Until I found your website I though the only thing left was to have her get married in a white gold band and find something later. Dear Todd: Wanted to let you know that US Post Office just delivered my package and I tore it open with anxious anticipation. I had recently lost a favorite ring that I had purchased in Turkey a number of years ago and wanted to replace it but after extensive shopping could not find what I wanted. I had never ordered something like jewelry over the internet before but after seeing your rings I felt it was worth a try. Despite the fact that we had spoken, I still wasn't certain it would be what I wanted it to be because all I saw was a picture and I wanted to hold it, touch it and put it on my finger. But guess what, all my fears were dispelled when I opened my purple bag and saw it. I JUST LOVE MY RING! Dear Todd: When my husband lost his wedding band over a year ago we had no idea what we should do. Our original rings were very standard so we decided that we would do things differently this time and try to find matching wedding bands. Hi Todd, Thought you'd like proof that the rings did arrive and that we're delighted with them. We had a "little" setback since ordering them ... I was diagnosed with breast cancer so had a full masectemy, both sides, on April 5th. Its really nice to spend my recovery time admiring my beautiful ring! We haven't set a date or location for a ceremony yet but we're off on our third honeymoon, to Italy this time, on May 11th, assuming my recovery continues at the pace the surgeon thinks it will! Todd Alan and his wonderfully helpful staff made sure our wedding day was perfect, just in the nick of time! With only a few short weeks left before our "spontaneous" wedding, we were thrilled to discover Todd Alan's handcrafted rings online. We wanted something unique and meaningful, and have better things to spend money on than a diamond! The beautiful braided design and their offer to create both rings out of one woven braid, "representing two separate individuals who choose to weave their lives together", clinched it for us. So, with little time to spare, we chose what we thought were our ring sizes (having never been married before, neither of us had ever worn a ring on that finger) and placed our order. The beautiful rings came right away, less than a week before the big day, but they were both too big - way too big! We would have had to tape them on just to wear them during the ceremony! We wanted everything to be perfect, of course, and were terribly disappointed. We had a million other details to take care of, and we resigned ourselves to getting married without our rings, but we called Todd Alan's studio to see if there was anything we could do. He and his staff could not have been more helpful! They immediately made two new, properly sized rings for us, at no charge, and air shipped them out. Did we mention that they did all of this during the two weeks leading up to Christmas?! They told us to just put the two rings we had in the mail and not worry about a thing. The rings arrived just in time for us to catch the ferry to our island wedding spot and relax and enjoy our wonderful day! We are so grateful to Todd Alan and his staff and have two shining reminders of their kindness and extraordinary service. And we are so thrilled with the rings themselves that we are in the process of ordering duplicates so that we will never be without them. Dear Todd, I just have to thank you again for the beautiful wedding bands. I had planned a getaway to the mountains over Thanksgiving, rented a beautiful cozy mountain cabin and arranged for a minister from the area to come remarry us at the cabin as a surprise for my husband of almost 20 years. I smuggled his new suit up and a dress for me, and broke the news to him just a little while before the minister was due. By candlelight with a Jim Brickman cd in the background, we exchanged our vows by the fireplace. We both shed some tears and were overwhelmed by the ceremony. Thomas loved his new ring, especially the story behind it being specially made for us out of one braid of gold. Thank You, I got your Crown over a year and a half ago. I know that this a bit belated. I am sorry. After my wedding I put the crown in storage, thinking that my daughter might want it. I just got my Arwen Coronation Crown (I didn't even wait for the carrier todeliver it--I called the post office and they said it was there, and I wentimmediately to pick it up).OMG! As a same sex couple looking for wedding bands, we were made to feel awkward and even somewhat unwelcome at some jewelry stores so we quickly moved on to jewelry websites to do our browsing and hopefully our purchase of a unique beautiful band. We went through many websites and were quite dismayed at the selection of always the same types of bands until we came across a link to the wonderfully unique website of Todd's handwoven bands. Plus the website had an amazing bonus - the home page stated that they had a fine line of "wedding and commitment bands". The site was letting us know that we were welcome and would be treated well.
