Braided Wedding Rings with Outer Bands in Platinum and White and Yellow Gold Every ring is completely hand-forged by well known artist Todd Alan.             After several decades of hand making rings Todd has added outer bands to his six stand open weave braid. These outer bands compliment Todd's braids and make this one of the most involved and special rings Todd makes. This ring is completely handmade, one round platinum wire at a time. For now we will be making this ring in platinum only because of the involved nature of this process. The OB620V style features our 6  strands braided together surrounded by two outer  strands, These are very sturdy rings and should last lifetimes under normal wear. These rings measure from 4.5mm to 8mm across and make great ladies or mens rings. We  can also add diamonds to this style to make a great engagement/wedding ring sets. This Outer Band Style is available in four differet sizes.  The OB624V is the thinnest version of this style, measuring only 4.5mm wide this ring style is a very good option if you are looking for a ladies engagment/ wedding band set (see above). This is also a good ring for the woman who likes a thinner ring. The OB622V is just a little larger then our OB624V measuring 5.5mm wide. This style also makes a great engagment/wedding set for the woman who likes a mid sized ring. The OB620V is a good medium sized ring measuring 6.5mm wide. This ring makes a great mens or womens ring a good one for mounting larger diamonds or a single wedding ring with or without diamonds. This would be our OB618V and would be perfect for men who would like a heavier mens band. This ring measures 8mm across and is a substantial ring sure to last even under heavy wear. OB618V See above. OB622VP on a size 6.5 ladies hand.         As you can see from this inside photo of this ring every juncture of the outer bands and the braid are hand fused. This is a very long process of point by point welding.   This completely hand created fabricated platinum ring is a star in Todds collection of handmade rings. Each ring is a very involved process with multiple stages of creation.     Please remember that this is an artist handmade ring not a cast or machine run off ring so each ring will be an original. As you can see in this photo each ring has a seam where the braid meets according to ring size. Often this seam is almost unnoticeable but depending on ring size and how the braid lines up the seam may be visible as in this photo.
